I've taken a lot of twists and turns
1.
I had a great high school physics teacher who inspired me to study physics in college—I really wanted to learn why things work the way they do.
2.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in physics from Minnesota State University and then went on to earn a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Iowa State University.
3.
I started my career as a research scientist.
4.
I eventually moved more into the business side of things and helped my company acquire other companies but always with a scientific mindset.
5.
I now work as a principal with Deloitte, where I help companies in manufacturing transform their operations.
